Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) 

Nicholas Perry (born May 19, 1992), better known as Nikocado Avocado, is a Ukrainian-born American internet celebrity known for his mukbang eating shows on YouTube, where he has garnered a significant notoriety from several viral videos. As of November 2022, he has accumulated more than 7 million subscribers and approximately 1.8 billion total views across six YouTube channels.

Perry was born in Kherson, Ukraine but grew up in Philadelphia. He is a classically trained violinist.[5] He majored in performance in college and says he received callbacks for The Glee Project.While pursuing his career as a violinist, he worked at Home Depot. Perry's early content consisted of vegan lifestyle vlogs and violin covers of popular songs. In 2016, he explained why he was no longer a vegan in a video on his channel, citing health concerns.[2] From 2016 onwards, Perry began filming mukbang videos, becoming one of the first American men to partake in the trend, with his first mukbang video reaching 50,000 views in a couple of weeks.[5] His earlier mukbang videos showed his pet parrot sitting on his shoulder while he ate.

Perry appeared on Comedy Central's Tosh.0 in 2018.[8] He also has a presence on platforms other than YouTube, such as Cameo, Patreon,[9] and OnlyFans.[6] He says he has had manic episodes due to his poor diet, and that he takes advantage of his low moments by using clickbait to encourage views to his videos.[2]

In a 2019 interview, Perry said he only plans on creating mukbang videos "for a couple more years" and that "it is very unhealthy".[5] Numerous emotionally turbulent videos uploaded by Perry have also led people to question the state of his mental health.[10] On September 18, 2021, he stated that he had fractured his ribs after months of "excessive, forceful coughing".[2]

According to Perry's interview with MEL Magazine in 2021, many of his online conflicts are self-orchestrated for the benefit of his career, citing his past education in performance arts and his desire to play the role of the villain.

In December 2019, Perry was accused by mukbanger Stephanie Soo of harassing her by sending her text messages and taking photos from inside her home. Perry published a response video disputing her statements, in which he displayed the photos he took and argued that Soo was fully aware of them being taken.[11] He also showed their text conversations, stating that Soo had stood him up for a scheduled collaboration.[10][11][12][13] Zach Choi, who once joined Perry and Soo in a collaboration, later stated that he had hired an attorney to address Perry's statements, though no legal action ever took place.[12][13] Perry later said that he and Soo had faked the feud to benefit their careers.[6]

Due to Perry's sharp weight gain in recent years, many fans and YouTubers have been concerned about his health.[2][14] In 2019, Perry told Men's Health that he suffers from erectile dysfunction and a loss of libido as a result of his binge eating.[7] In 2021, he told his viewers that he is classed as disabled and rides a mobility scooter.[15] He is sometimes seen wearing a CPAP mask, a device designed for individuals with sleep apnea, in his videos

Spectacular. 

Visually delightful. 

Splendid storytelling. 

This movie was recommended to me by a very dear friend who went for the movie by herself. 

I went to the cinemas to watch but had a houseful board so couldn’t watch it. That same night i got a message from a fellow movie buff about this again. I saw it as a sign and went on the day of Diwali. And what a surreal experience. 

The movie talks about a wide array of topics like the land to its ancestry, the concept of paap, friendship, conflict of two thought points and the whole idea of rituals in a contemporary society in a very fresh and micro regional perspective. 

The writer / director and lead actor Rishab Shetty shines in this marvellous movie. The female lead Sapthami Gowda looks picture perfect as the woman torn between life and duty. Kishore Kumar G. As the Forest Officer Murali is top notch. 

The shining work by cinematographer Arvind Kashyap is visible in each frame by means of carefully blending the story with his framing of visual poetry. 

The background score is gritty, the music encapsulates local sounds and folklore perfectly and this movie makes you wonder how much we have to learn from our own music before going to look for melody in the west. 

The fight sequences, the dance of “daiva” and the makeup as well as costumes department have done magic. 

Locations are all real and the art department has done a beautiful job in capturing the essence of the story with utmost honesty. I can see Kantara as one prime example of how to tell a story effectively.
